DEWIS e-assessment formative questions available in mathcentre

DEWIS is a free-to-use open-source e-assessment web-based system developed at the University of the West of England, Bristol (UWE). It uses an algorithmic approach to the generation (with random parameters), automated marking and feedback of the questions, all within a server based system. It is used both for formative and summative assessment in a wide range of fields, such as Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Business, Economics, Computing and Nursing. A Public Question Bank of over 200 questions, designed and coded by a number of different authors, is available.

Several formative tests have been constructed by Karen Henderson and Rhys Gwynllyw for mathcentre covering a variety of topics such as complex numbers, determinants, matrices, partial differentiation, partial fractions, percentages, ratios, the transposition of formulae, trigonometry and vectors .
