The sigma Northwest North Wales regional maths support hub is organising a day of workshops and presentations on ways in which we can effectively support the development of students statistics skills on Friday 18^th January 2013 at the University of Liverpool.

We are interested in work that supports statistics based subjects  directly as well subjects that require students to develop statistics skills.

If you have practices, approaches or resources that you wish to share at this event please send a short outline (100 words)  indicating whether you wish to deliver a workshop (40 minutes) or a presentation (20 minutes) and email to sarrasaf@liv.ac.uk by December 1^st 2012.

Travelling costs for workshop facilitators and presenters will be met. The event is free and we will provide a buffet lunch and refreshments.
