Current issues in differentiating Learning Development
University of Bedfordshire, Luton Campus
Monday 22 July 2019, 9.45am – 3.45pm
You are invited to the first co-delivered ALDinHE and sigma Network event to share and discuss current issues in Learning Development and academic skills support provision across a range of disciplines and skills areas.
The focus of this FREE meeting is differentiation, with the following themes:
- Strategic considerations and experiences when co-locating academic skills support services (eg academic writing, maths support), to provide a differentiated approach to students’ needs from different disciplines.
- Academic skills support delivery differentiation for diverse student groups (e.g. Widening Participation characteristics, foundation year, high achievers).
- Teaching and learning differentiation when preparing and delivering academic skills workshops / 1:1s / drop-ins / embedded courses / online learning materials.
This event is now fully booked.
