DESCRIPTION:On Wednesday 3rd of February at Essex University\, Colchester there will be a presentation and discussion on the software Mathematica (To be held in PC Lab M\, in Room 4S.2.4 .) \nThe agenda for the day is as follows: \n· 12.00 – 12.30 Arrive. Sandwich lunch \n· 12.30 – 14..30 Presentation by Andrew Pollard of Mathematica \n· 14.30 – 15.00 Coffee\, informal discussion \n· 15.00 – 16.30 Further hands-on practice and sharing experiences of Mathematica. \nThe event is free of charge and anyone interested in Mathematica is encouraged to come along. It will be appropriate for beginners\, and those with more experience will have the opportunity to share experiences of using Mathematica for teaching and maths support. \nContact Dan Brawn dbrawn@essex.ac.uk if you would like to attend. \nFor those working towards HEA Fellowship\, attendance at and engagement with this event\, and reflection on its implications for practice\, could help to provide evidence towards elements of the UK Professional Standards Framework: A5\, K1\, K4
